Mina comes from a wealthy Austrian family that moves to the United States in her early teens. It was an adjustment period socially, but school was another matter - Mina was already a top student, advanced in her artistic subjects. A quiet girl, she was different to the others. All her life she had uncanny instincts, dreams both when sleeping and awake, and could pick up impressions of people and objects with an accuracy that disturbed and sometimes frightened those that she told. Its no surprise that she stopped talking about these things, and even with her own parents, it became something that was rarely discussed. They never talked down at her about it and aside from that they had a good relationship with their daughter, and encouraged her to make the most of her other talents.

It’s no surprise then that she’s become one of the youngest, promising painters, with little doubt that her name would become one of the greats and likely before she’s thirty. At twenty-three she’s already making money her paintings famous for exquisite detail and the vivid use of colours in a style that’s been described as “dreamy realism”. While not her only style, it seems to be her preferred, and many of her paintings are scenes that have taken places in dreams of symbolism, or snapshots of life that catches the intimacy of personalty and mood. There are some that are just born to do something, and many believe that Mina is one of those natural born talents like the artists of old.

Currently Mina is finishing a combined Art and Music degree at University. She doesn’t have a full study load, having chosen to take only a few classes each semester as she continues to pursue her career, which has already made her wealthy beyond her years. But in a day and age where child prodigies are making a come back in main stream media, it’s not all that surprising. She’s quite happy to continue to drift through life, always dreaming of that something that’s missing but hasn’t found yet. Living the quiet life gives her plenty of time for reflection, and only occasionally does she head out to mingle with some older students from the University, or attend opening events in the high society, particularly when it’s required by invitations.
